With the NILO II, you can alter images in numerous ways and creatively come up with ingenious pattern combinations to work with any style and fashion statement! DIY allows you to select from a large image, cutting a nail sized portion, you can apply patterns or cut patterns over your selection or even change the color of the whole image to match the colors of your outfit!
DIY also allows for the user to plug in USB devices such as cameras and memory cards, or flash drives, and import a picture of your selection from anywhere and any size.
It is important that you follow the correct procedures in preparing the nail,
- Cleaning the nail surface, buffing and wiping off residue and nail dust.
- Painting nail tips with desired undercoat.
- Applying #2 Preprint lacquer.
- Print.
- Fan until dry, properly cover entire surface with #3m, acrylic or Gel top coating for best protection against elements and from chipping.

The finger mount has two jobs:
- It allows for single nail printing
- Multi-tip set printing
To mount the single-finger:
- Click the slide down
- Stick finger into space (Entire nail surface must be visible on video)
- Click down and release the slider, finger should become pressed to Finger mount roof.
Mounting tips onto Tipset holder:
The NILO II tipset holder prints on 20 tips,(2 tip sets)
- Carefully press the peg on the tipset into the bottom of hole of the tipset next to the tab
- At the same time press left hole into left peg
- Flip tipset holder and repeat
note: it is important to make sure that tip sets are evenly placed on the pegs, peg indicators on the left and right edge are meant to have tipset pressed firmly against them to ensure the tipset straightness.
Mounting tipset holder into finger Mount:
- Slider must be in down position
- Lip under tipset bridge must slide into space within finger mount
- Push down with the tipset holder and allow tipset holder to go up with slider.

Applying Tip Glue/Tape for Artificial Nail Tips:
- Remove protective film from underside of gummy tape
- Evenly apply gummy tape to Nail tips, center the tape
- Apply artificial nail tip on top of sticker (make sure there is no unevenness)

The Design template area located on the left of the screen contains two varieties of templates that can be applied to your selected design.
A. Delete template, Remove applied template from selected design.
B. By clicking on a template within the template menu, you will Apply a frame over selected design. Frame a picture that has been taken of yourself or yourself with someone else, apply a great frame and then print!
C. Page left and right through the other template choices.
D. Adjust template color- replaces the dark zone with a printed color.
E. Rotate patterns 90 degrees per click.

The single nail interface consists of the Preview section, automatic positioning, and further adjustments in regards to positioning, color manipulation, and template usage.
A. Load pattern by clicking on pattern in pre-selection zone, selected design appears in camera pre-view area.

This section will speak of the multiple ways to adjust the single pattern, the NILO II features easy to use modification buttons, a intuitive user interface and large icons for easy clicking.
A. Top right selectable vertex, use to manipulate pattern dimensions to better fit the customers nail.
B. Show hide pattern, convenient method to see the border of pattern image and be able to better fit boundary around the customers nail.
C. Zoom in/Zoom out, increase or diminish pattern dimensions
D. Arrow key adjustment buttons, allows to easily move selected vertex or entire pattern
E. By tapping on the white nail polish in camera preview area, the pattern box will snap according to the width and height of white nail polish on customers nails.
F. Select vertex, if opposing vertex angle, you will have to have one chosen only.
The Multi-nail printing area allows you to preview the arrangement of the selection and choose which nail to apply designs to. This section is only for use with tip-sets.
A. Choose design from pre-selections in selection zone
by default, first nail is selected and will be filled with your chosen design when it has been clicked on.
B.Choose correct artificial nail type
The tip set have tabs on them, on the tabs is located a letter, A, B, C, D, E, F depending on which letter your tipset has, you want to make sure that the Nail Tip Circulatory button also has the same letter.
C.The check mark button toggles all nail selection or single nail selection.
D. The X button allows user to remove chosen pattern from nail preview.
E. Toggle single strip or double strip of nail tips.
F. Change color of pattern.
G. Rotate pattern.
H. Undo template adjustments.
